Symposium 10: Biomaterial and Application Symposium Scope Biomaterials can be materials from nature or synthesis, alive or lifeless, which interact with biological systems. Biomaterials are usually made of multiple components and often used in medical applications such as drug delivery systems, cardiovascular medical devices, orthopedic and dental applications, ophthalmologic applications (i.e. contact lenses), bioelectrodes and biosensors etc. In this symposium, leading experts in the field of biomaterials will inform us how they develop new materials for bio-applications.
Topic: Symposium topics include but are not limited to:- Biomaterials for Diagnostics and Imaging
- Biomaterial for Cancer Therapy
- Biomaterial for Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine
- Biomaterial for bioelectrodes and biosensors
