Symposium 2: Energy Storage Materials
Symposium Scope
“Energy storage materials” is a multidisciplinary symposium for communicating scientific and technological advances in the field of materials for any kind of energy storage. The symposium looks for reports of significant new findings related to the formation, fabrication, textures, structures, properties, performances, and technological applications of materials and their devices for energy storage such as Thermal, Electrochemical, Chemical, Electrical, Magnetic, and Mechanical Energy Storage. The materials of interest can be either inorganic (metallic or non-metallic) materials, organic materials, or their hybrid/composites.
Topics:
The symposium welcome the researches dealing with materials for clean and versatile use of energy, renewable energy, energy conversion, dissipation and transport in relation to energy storage, as well as with strategies and policies for developing advanced energy storage technologies. It is anticipated that this symposium will provide an outstanding opportunity for participants to exchange ideas and promote discussions on recent advances in the field of energy storage-materials and devices, their electrochemistry as well as mechanics in various applications.
Symposium topics include but are not limited to:
Materials for supercapacitors
Materials for batteries
Materials for solid state hydrogen storage (SSHS)
Materials for fuel cells &electrolysers
Multi-scale modeling, simulation and theory of advance energy storage materials
Materials safety, standards, testing and certification
Energy storage software, PCS, BMS and inverter
Reliability and fatigue of materials for energy storage technologies
Mechanics-guide materials designs and optimizations
Advanced characterization techniques on different scales
